Caring Ministry
The Caring Ministry supports our college students, homebound, those that are ill, are in the hospital and other specific requests. We will support you by visits, calls, or cards.

Mailings/Calls
A letter, email, card, or call will sent to members who are homebound, ill, hospitalized and other encouragement.
Hospital Visits
This servant will visit you in the hospital. Please ensure the Caring Ministry knows you have been admitted or will have an upcoming hospital stay.
Assisted Living & Nursing Home Visits
A servant will visit members in their home, nursing home/Assisted living once a month who are unable to come to church on a regular basis.
Transportation for Medical Appt.
This servant will provide assistance in driving individuals to and from medical appointments.
College Students
Cards, letters & care packages are mailed to our college students who live on campus. Support and encouragement is also give to our students who commute from home. If you are a college student, be sure to give your mailing address to the church office.
Communion
This servant will visit and bring communion to the homes of members who are not capable of attending on Sunday’s Communion was served. Communion is provided to members upon request.
Communion is also offered at North Dearborn Village on the first Sunday of the month at 2:00pm.
Communion is blessed by the officiating Clergy at church, then dedicated members serve communion to you. If you would like to ask for a visit or become involved in this ministry, please contact us.
Meals
Provide meals to members that have short term needs.
Funeral Planning & Luncheon
Funeral Planning for your services can be arranged by our Pastor. Funeral luncheons are arranged and we can serve a meal for families following funeral services here at DHUMC. Please contact us immediately.
