Operation Christmas Child

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, has delivered over 157 million shoeboxes to children around the world in 150 countries.   Each shoe box is filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and other gifts.

A colorful Gospel storybook, translated into the child’s own language, is also included.  Discipleship programs are offered as well to help children grow into lifelong followers of Jesus!

Filling a shoe box is easy to do.  Visit www.samaritanspurse.org for more information about:

  • How to pack a shoe box gift
  • Age and gender of the child (you choose)
  • Gifts that are appropriate to buy and gifts that are not
  • How to help with shipping expenses

FYI:  Toothpaste and candy are not allowed in shoeboxes this year due to increased restrictions entering some countries.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection Week is November 18-25th, 2019.
